Privacy Policy

39–43 is a free fan-made game. It does not have accounts, sign-ups, or logins. We never ask for your name, email address, phone number, or any other personal information. The only data we collect is anonymous gameplay analytics, described below.

When you play, the game automatically sends anonymous events (such as "visited the site", "started a game", or "finished a game") that include:

• A random visitor ID stored in your browser's local storage — it cannot identify you.
• A session ID that resets after 30 minutes of inactivity.
• Gameplay details: your picks, your score, and your result.
• How long your session lasted.
• Your approximate location (country, region/state, and city) and timezone, derived from network headers at city-level accuracy. This is not GPS and not your exact location.
• The page that referred you here, and standard campaign parameters (utm_source, etc.) when present.

• Names, email addresses, phone numbers, or account credentials
• Raw IP addresses
• Precise device location
• Cookies for advertising, tracking pixels, or cross-site trackers
• Any payment information

Anonymous analytics are used only to understand how many people play, how games turn out, and where in the world players are roughly located — shown on an internal dashboard. We do not sell, rent, or share data with advertisers or data brokers.

The game uses your browser's local storage and session storage to remember your anonymous visitor ID and your in-progress game so a refresh doesn't lose your squad. These values stay on your device and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.

The game is hosted on infrastructure that provides the coarse location headers described above. Anonymous analytics events are forwarded to a shared analytics endpoint operated by the same developer for cross-game reporting. The "Buy me a beer" link takes you to Buy Me a Coffee, an external service with its own privacy policy; we receive no data back from it.

39–43 does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Since the game collects no personal information at all, no parental consent mechanism is required.

You can block or clear the anonymous ID at any time by clearing your browser's site data, and you can block analytics entirely with a browser extension or content blocker — the game will still work.

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
